Mission

The LakeCities Ballet Theatre Alumni Association serves to preserve and promote the relationships between LBT and all of its alumni through its various productions, services and programs, and assists the Company in its quest for excellence.

 

Goals

• Promote the interests of LBT and strengthen its base of support.

• Encourage an ongoing commitment to LBT among Alumni and future Alumni.

• Promote effective communication between LBT and its Alumni.

• Encourage greater Alumni involvement within LBT.

• Support LBT’s Outreach Program benefiting area school children, and the community.

• Provide services and programs to benefit LBT and the LBT Alumni.

• Promote the strength and independence of Alumni programs.

 

The LakeCities Ballet Theatre Alumni Association organize and implement programs which encourage volunteer services in support of LBT and the community. Alumni assist us in Outreach Programs, Faculty Support, Production Assistance, Costumes, Scenery, and Technology. These broad areas are all LBT priorities that receive support through alumni and their families. Whether you are a current or former member of LBT, you know that LakeCities Ballet Theatre has, from the beginning, been committed to pushing the edge, transcending tradition, and creating a body and style of work unexpected in the North Texas area. Today, LBT is an essential part of the arts in this great city it calls home. What the Company achieves has always been possible only with the support of like-minded patrons.

 

As a supporter of the LBTAA, you become a partner in the creative process as well as a Company insider with access to opportunities and services that enhance your experience as an audience member. Your tax-deductible gift, which helps cover the substantial expense not met by box receipts and other earned revenues, enables LBT to commission and present works by leading choreographers and preserve the masterpieces in its incomparable repertory, sustain its brilliant dancers, and reach out to the community at-large, with educational programs that are instructive, innovative, and entertaining.
