ABOUT LBT2
LakeCities Ballet Theatre 2 was formed in 2002 as a branch of the senior company, LBT, and is directed by Sarah Solomon Rosenzweig. The success of LBT 2’s formative years is attributed to founding Director and LBT alumnus, Ms. Lindsay Coe. LBT 2 was formed to allow LBT’s wonderful performing and training benefits to reach a younger, yet serious group of dancers, enhancing their dance education and inspiring they artistry.  LBT is proud to offer this opportunity to younger generations of dedicated dancers, ages 10 to 15.  Dance education and performance opportunities are abundant in LBT 2 as the company performs in LBT’s three largest productions each season, as well as, local events such as The City of Lewisville’s Western Days and The Dallas Dance Council’s Dance for the Planet.  In 2004, 2009 and 2010, LBT 2 was invited to perform at the New York City Finals of the Youth America Grand Prix Competition.
