2025 Nutcracker Auditions

Our 35nd Annual Production

There is a specific time for each age group so please see the times on our audition flyer.

AUDITION TIMES: (please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your audition)

*5 year olds must be 5 by the date of our audition: 9/6/25
*You must audition with your level, not necessarily your age.

10:00am -11:15am Advanced Pointe and Advanced Men (A1 Ballet and Advanced)
-Start with pointe shoes on. (Make sure you are warmed up prior to the audition.)

11:30am - 12:15pm Ages 5-8 (Twinkle 5 year olds; Ballet 1 and Ballet 2)

12:30pm - 1:30pm Ages 9 to 12 (Ballet 1X and Ballet 3)

1:45pm - 2:45pm Ages 12 & up (Ballet 4; Teen Ballet; Ballet 5)
-Bring pointe shoes into the audition with you if you are en pointe.

3:00pm - 4:00pm Callbacks for Clara/Fritz/Prince

1. For those currently studying ballet at any studio. Must be Age 5 the day of audition. To be fair, there will be
no exceptions.
2. Please wear ballet attire – Girls – a black leotard, pink tights and ballet slippers and hair in a neat bun.
No skirt. No jewelry or watches. (Twinkle dancers may wear pink)
Boys – white T-shirt or white dance shirt. Black tights or leggings with black shoes, or black tights with white
socks with white ballet shoes.
3. Must be available November 23 – November 30 for mandatory rehearsals in the theater and performances
with no rehearsal on Thanksgiving Day. You must also agree to attend all rehearsals and will be allowed to
miss only one studio rehearsal.
4. Parts are available for non-dancing boys ages 7 and up and Adult Men. Complete an application to be
considered. No audition required for a non-dancing part. Boys who have previous ballet training and currently
take ballet may audition with age 5 and older.
5. Please bring a non-returnable 4x6 photo or smaller to the audition. School photo or snapshot is fine. Put
full name on the back.
6. There is a $125 participation fee ($250 family max) due at audition. You will not be cast if not paid. You
will be refunded if not cast.
