One way to support LBT is by making a tax-deductible donation and becoming a member of the
LakeCities Ballet Theatre Guild. The Basic Guild membership donation entitles you to advance purchase of Nutcracker
tickets, Ballet Guild newsletters, and recognition of your donation in the performance programs.
(Advance purchase of Nutcracker tickets is offered to Guild members one weekend in October.)

Endowed Fund
|
|
When you contribute to LakeCities Ballet Theatre, you sustain a long tradition of support for
the arts in North Texas. And your donation is fully tax deductible. You may be inspired to
give because the arts have changed your life in some way and you want to give back. You may
give to celebrate an important milestone or rite of passage in the life of someone you love.
You may give an annual gift or through a matching program with your employer. You may want
to include a bequest in your will or a deferred gift in your estate planning. And, if you
like, you can specify how your gift will be used, in a particular discipline that is
especially meaningful to you. Endowed gifts are held in perpetuity. A named endowment is
created through the establishment of a permanent fund that is professionally invested and
managed. LBT invests the initial gift and spends only a portion of the average annual
investment return. The remaining income is added to the principal. A benefactor who makes an
endowment gift today may be confident that it will continue to support its intended purpose
in the future. You can establish an endowed fund by making an outright gift, through a pledge
payable over a number of years, or through a planned gift.

Volunteering

Each and every production of LakeCities Ballet Theatre as well as the day-to-day running of
the company is achieved through the hard working efforts of LBT's volunteers. If you enjoy
being involved in the magic of backstage, or are more comfortable sitting at a desk, the
commitment of time from our volunteers is as equally important as the financial support we
