LakeCities Ballet Theatre's Board of Directors is assisted by a group of non-voting
members. These individuals devote many hours assisting the Board of Directors with
the planning, administration and guidance of LBT.

Polly became a member of the board in 2008 in the role of Development. Her experience
from a corporate background enables Polly to use her skills of development of contracts
and proposals and apply them to LBT in her committed quest for corporate sponsorship
and grant support. Polly consistently amazes the board with her creative ideas on
fundraising and her devotion to the continuous growth of the art of dance LBT provides
in our community. Prior to becoming a board member, Polly was an active volunteer
and Guild member for five years chairing several fundraising events. Polly is married
to Armando Pardo who also volunteers his time for LBT, and they are the parents
of Charles and Victoria. The Board of Directors is very excited to have Polly as
member of the board not only because of the skills she brings to the company, but
also because of her love of the theatre. She has said that, "because of LBT, a family
can attend a performance with world-renowned artists without leaving their neighborhood.
In today's economy, that is a rich gift!"

Sharon Schweitzer
|
|
Board Treasurer
|
|
Sharon has been attending LakeCities Ballet Theatre performances since 1990. She
began her direct involvement with LBT in 2004 as an active volunteer and chairperson
for many fundraisers and events. She soon assumed the responsibility of the position
of Treasurer, a time consuming task for any not for profit organization. Somehow,
Sharon has continually kept the company moving forward with great humor and a firm
hand on the company's finances. She is committed to the acquisition of corporate
and grant support as well as continuing to volunteer where needed. As a member of
the Executive Committee, Sharon is a highly trusted and much appreciated part of
the Board of Director's support staff. Sharon was awarded the 2007 Greater Lewisville
Arts Alliance Angel Award in 2007 for her committed dedication to LBT and the arts
in her community. She is a graduate of Southern Methodist University with a Bachelor
of Fine Arts. Sharon and her husband, Eric, are the owners of Natural Exteriors
Landscape Management, where she is the Office Manager. They have two daughters,
Hallie and Sally. The Board of Directors is very thankful to Sharon for all that
she has done for this organization.
